Aconbury Pods Teal is a spacious detached pod in Herefordshire with killer countryside and lake views. This quirky glamping spot gives you 630 acres of farm and woodland to explore without moving your car. Perfect for couples who want countryside without roughing it - this pod packs in everything you need in a surprisingly roomy space.

The setting is brilliant. Situated on a peaceful corner of a working farm, you'll hear birds singing and see horses in the next field. Free coarse fishing in adjacent lakes and access to the River Wye for anglers. Fancy a walk? Forest paths start right at your doorstep. And after dark, the real magic happens - this area has proper Dark Skies for stargazing from your hot tub with a favourite drink..

Inside, the pod is cleverly designed with an open-plan living area featuring a king-size bed, shower room and fully-equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There's even a covered porch for dumping muddy boots after your countryside rambles.

Explore Hay-on-Wye (famous book town) just a short drive away, visit historic Hereford Cathedral (15 minutes by car), walk the Malvern Hills (30 minutes), or tour the cider producers of Herefordshire's famous apple orchards. We had a lovely stay here! The views were stunning and the walks nearby were just what we needed. It's only a 15-minute drive to the town, so we still had easy access to shops and sights without feeling too far out in the countryside. The two pods were spaced nicely, giving us privacy. The secure garden was perfect for the dog to roam freely. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a chill, dog-friendly getaway!

From the start, we felt really welcomed and appreciated the helpful tips on using the hot tub. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, with plenty of tea, coffee, sugarand some tasty treats. The setting by the lake with views of the woods is so peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The garden was a good size for our dog, who loved running around freely. The hot tub was a real highlight-so private and soothing. Only downside was some slightly annoying music from next door, but overall, a lovely weekend getaway!

Alan and Gilly were super friendly and gave us some handy tips about local walks and things to do. The hot tub was a real treat, even during the March snow! Our dog was safe in the garden, which was a relief with our curious 20-month-old Springer. The pod stayed warm despite the chilly weatherand we're already looking forward to visiting again in the summer. Definitely recommend!

Honestly, we had a cracking stay here! The pod had everything we needed and more, making it super easy to relax. We basically lived off the BBQ all day, every day-breakfast, lunch, dinner-you name it. When we weren't eating, we were chilling in the hot tub, which was lush. The hosts were great, leaving us to enjoy ourselves but always available if we needed anything. Wish we'd stayed an extra night to soak up even more sun. It's only about 15 minutes into town for any extras. A top spot overall!
