The Hay House Retreat is a grand 17th Century farmhouse just 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye in the Brecon Beacons. This massive property sits on 5 acres of landscaped grounds. Perfect for large groups of up to 21 adults and 5 children (with space for extra guests if you're really popular).
The grounds are yours to explore. Grab a drink and chill by the fire pit as the sun sets over the Wye Valley. Challenge your mates to table tennis in the covered brick barn. Kids can play under the willow trees while you try out the hot tub, which can be heated with logs.
The accommodation is split between the main farmhouse and a converted stable block.

You'll find 9 bedrooms in total - 8 king-size and 1 double - with five guest suites with en-suite bathrooms, plus 3 additional bathrooms. The living spaces include a main lounge with comfortable sofas, a formal lounge for cocktails, a library for the book nerds and a dining room that seats up to 21 people. The kitchen has everything you need including a large oven and induction hob.
Explore Hay-on-Wye with its famous bookshops (5 miles away), hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park (on your doorstep), or head off to nearby fishing spots for those who prefer quieter pursuits.
The Hay House Retreat works brilliantly for family gatherings, celebrations or even work retreats. Dogs are welcome with space for up to 5 dogs. The log-heated hot tub is the spot to unwind after a day of exploring this gorgeous part of Wales.
