Sleeping arrangements are top-notch with room for 18 people in 9 bedrooms, plus extra space for 6 more on sofa beds and put-up singles. The wood-panelled dining room has an impressive inglenook fireplace for large gatherings. There's a games room with table tennis and a 90" cinema screen, plus a library with a pool table. The kitchen has two ovens, three fridges and two dishwashers - cooking for the masses made easy!
Nearby attractions include Hereford on the River Wye (20 mins), Leominster's antique shops (10 mins) and Hampton Court Castle Estate (15 mins). Weobley with its black and white buildings is worth a visit, as is Berrington Hall (12 mins).
The Country Retreat is perfect for milestone birthdays, family reunions or just because you fancy playing lord of the manor for a week. It's private but not isolated, luxurious but not stuffy. Book it before your in-laws suggest their place instead.
